    “Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright: for the end of that man is peace. But the transgressors shall be destroyed together: the end of the wicked shall be cut off.” [Psalm ] The end of the “perfect man” is very different than the end of the “wicked”. In the Old Testament, the primary Hebrew word for “peace” is shalom, and it refers to relationships between people (Genesis ), nations (1 Kings ), and God with men (Psalm ).
